There will be peak loads such as at check-in and check-out of guests, which must be considered in the planning phase. If conferences are held where rooms are not at ground level, there will be a peak load of the lifts at the conference start and end as well as at lunchtime if the restaurant is on a different floor than the conference room.
When we plan the total number of elevators and their size and at what speed they should run, we always calculate with an average occupancy of 1.5 person per. room to ensure that there is sufficient elevator capacity available to transport the guests without them experiencing inappropriate waiting time.

The Maldron Hotel was originally a 206-room building, but in the meantime the complex's architect has applied to increase the number of rooms to 237 without a substantial increase in budget.
